Rachel Lewis

About Me

Rachel Lewis is a senior at Illini West High School.  She is involved in Art Club, Tech Club, and an assistant to the yearbook.  Her interests include art, design, and music.  In her free time, she enjoys playing video games, reading a good book, and just hanging out with her friends.  Rachel is currently employed at Memorial Hospital in Carthage, IL, as a part time CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant), and as a Co-op student in the Marketing Department.  She plans on pursuing a career in Business and Design after she graduates this spring.  As a side note, Rachel grew up on a small farm with one older brother and was home schooled until the eighth grade.  She currently takes care of a dozen cats and one dog by giving them flea baths, combing/brushing them, and feeding them every night.  Her mother is a nurse and was a Captain in the US Army until 1989.  Her father is an electrician, plumber, and carpenter who isn't afraid to help out anyone who needs it.  While growing up in a different environment than her peers didn't make her the most sociable person, it taught her how to problem solve and keep working until the job was done.

About My Business

Rachel is now the owner of her own small design business called Omegit Designs (o-meg-it), and does graphic design, logo design, and packaging design.  She is currently doing freelance work for various business owners around the county, and plans on continuing to do freelance through college as much as possible.
