I think the middle school presentation was a great way to show those kids what this program is all about. Even though they can’t do it next year, hopefully they took away some valuable information and when they become a junior or senior they will want to apply.

Tuesday was our trade show from 4-6 and I thought it turned out very well. Many people came and were interested in our businesses so I think it was a good turn out.

out.
The day of the event went so well in my opinion, everyone was so nervous but in the end it all worked out well. I think the whole thing was a big giant pro! The feedback I got back from the audience is that our event was fantastic and it was the best so far. Also that everyone had so much fun and were super competitive. The greatest strength in my opinion was the speeches because we didn't want to get up there and do it, but we did it anyway.

Today we went to Outlaw Tees in Nauvoo, and man was that a cool experience to see how they make all the hundreds of t-shirts. It was a very unique thing to see and witness how he

started his business on his own and now he does things throughout the nation. That just blows my mind how a small town guy can make a living like that.
Today we had a guest speaker and her name was Ada Bair. She is the CEO of the hospital in Carthage. She has been in the healthcare system for many years and she told us about her adventures and the obstacles she went through to get to become the CEO. She also had to make many important decisions about what she was going to do and where she was
going to live. I really enjoyed her as a speaker she was one of the best ones I think!Kent Probst from Midland Institute came and I really enjoyed him as a speaker. He gave us incredible advice and shared some of his own personal stories. He was very easy to get to know and was a very exciting speaker to listen to. He was probably one of the funniest guys I have ever met. He was definitely at the top of my list for best speakers!

Today, we went to Memorial Hospital and took a tour. This visit was super exciting to me because that's what I want to go into and where I want to work. I just love everything about the medical field. The thing that makes me want to become a nurse and then into a nurse practitioner is the fact that I would get to help those in need. This was my favorite visit by far.

I really enjoyed going to Martin Sullivan and thought it was a really good visit and opportunity to learn every aspect and different parts of the company. I didn't realize how many different things and jobs there are in one company.
