The greatest strength of the CEOlympics was the teamwork we students achieved and the information spread about CEO. I enjoyed working with everyone to make the event possible but I also enjoyed being on stage and speaking about CEO. I want to remember that CEO gave me and the others the resources and the encouragement to make any mission we were given a success.

Molly and I started off class by presenting “The Theory of Multiplying” in the book “Things You Wish You Knew Yesterday.” Reading and presenting this chapter taught me that making a list of reasons you think you are busy will help you realize that in reality you may not be as busy as you think you are.

We met at Harrison Monuments in Warsaw for a class business visit. We ate breakfast and took a tour of the workshop where they design and create their monuments. It was cool to see the process of how each monument is personalized and created, My favorite part of the tour was seeing all the different monuments they have created and styled in the past.

We did an activity in class on Monday. We got a slip of paper with two nouns on it, we had to make a sentence that involved the two nouns together. I never knew how hard it was to come up with a sentence and present it to the class with out sounding silly. This exercise helped me realize that everyone isn't perfect and that we all make silly statements or questions every once in a while.

Something I learned from the business visit to MORE Medical is if you're passionate about something, give 100% even if you are given judgement or criticism. 09/16/2017
We met at the Carl Sandburg College campus to learn from Tracy Engstrom about proper etiquette. She gave us great tips and information on proper dining etiquette. I learned that long ago a handshake was a way to check and see if your guest had a knife in their sleeve! Now that’s one thing I'll never forget.
